“A concept of all-in-one automatic controls”, the regulBox combines for the 1st time the hydraulic connections and the controller in one unit, with a dedicated compartment for each function.
This innovative patented system simplifies site installation while considerably reducing commissioning time and facilitating building operation.
« Plug & Play system» once installed with its hydraulic and electrical connections, the unit is operational.
The regulBox is supplied already programmed, calibrated and hydraulically tested. Its flash code indicates all its functions and enables its identification for installation and operation.

4-pipe – 1 loop configuration
For sites incorporating a 4-pipe distribution to air conditioning terminal units which are connected simultaneously to 2 hot water pipes and 2 chilled water pipes, we recommend a type 4T-1B regulBox (4 pipe – 1 loop).
The regulBox 4T-1B is provided with 4 inlet hydraulic couplings for connecting to the distribution network (4T), and 2 outlet hydraulic couplings to the air conditioning terminal unit and an automatic control loop (1B). The hydraulic module incorporates four motorised valves which enable the hydraulic isolation between the hot water and chilled water circuits, as well as balancing and power control.
This regulBox 4T-1B enables the autonomous heating and cooling of an office to which can be added management of the lighting and blinds.
2-pipe – 2 loop configuration
For sites incorporating a 2-pipe changeover distribution to air conditioning terminal units which are connected alternatively to hot water or chilled water, we recommend a type 2T-2B regulBox (2 pipe – 2 loops).
The regulBox 2T-2B is provided with 2 inlet hydraulic couplings (2T), 4 outlet hydraulic couplings to two air conditioning terminal units and two automatic control loops (2B). The hydraulic module incorporates two motorised valves which enable the hydraulic isolation of each terminal unit, as well as balancing and power control.
This regulBox 2T-2B enables the autonomous heating and cooling of two offices to which can be added management of the lighting and blinds.
The main applications of the regulBox
Reversible radiant ceiling
The increasingly restrictive evolution of regulations and the determination of developers and users to reduce maintenance costs and optimise the energy consumption of buildings by opting for BBC, HQE, BREEAM or LEED certification have brought to the fore radiant ceilings and chilled beam air conditioning systems.
These systems are controlled by motorised valves installed on the hot water and chilled water couplings and interlocked with electronic controllers which enable modulation of room temperature. The controllers can also open the windows, detect condensation or even room occupancy with a view to optimising the running costs.
The regulBox is an integral part of this approach by offering the incorporation of these two organs in one unit complete with factory settings. This addition enables plug and play in the zone controlled by the regulBox.
